Built in 1841, this prominent limestone building sits at the heart of Kingston’s downtown core. Originally used as a grocery store and then a piano factory, it was devastated by a fire in 1908. It was used as a military barracks and storehouse during the Second World War before becoming the famous S&R Department store in 1959.
It was acquired by ABNA Investments in 2010 and underwent extensive renovations. It is now home to many shops, restaurants, and offices.
