The Artillery Park Aquatic Centre is a 35-year-old inner city pool and fitness centre. The project included a 12,100 sq.ft addition and an extensive renovation to the entire 21,800 sq.ft existing building.

The Natatorium was completely refinished and includes new ramp access to the existing pool tank, a new fitness and leisure pool, and new locker rooms and showers. There is also a completely renovated fitness room, gymnasium, multipurpose room, and administrative areas. Working closely with the Kingston Accessibility Advisory Committee and City staff, the resulting renovation is fully accessible and easy to navigate by all users.

It included complete upgrades to the mechanical and electrical systems. It incorporates a new salt water filtration system for the pool.

The project achieved LEED Silver.
