The conversion of the existing Radisson Hotel into the Delta Hotel. The entire hotel was refurbished; from each individual room to the pool and conference spaces. There was considerable design freedom for the conversion of the existing lobby as well as for the restaurant Aqua Terra.

The hotel is on the waterfront, but the configuration of the original restaurant was compartmentalized and limited the views of the water. The new plan better integrated the restaurant into the lobby. Different types of spaces are all accommodated in a fairly open plan allowing for maximized views of the water while still maintaining the integrity of each individual function.

The lobby contains a lounge area with informal seating by a fireplace. A full service bar separates the lobby from Aqua Terra while still feeling connected to both.

The project required working closely with an external Interior Design consultant to align the existing building with the branding requirements of the Delta Hotels.
