A one-storey branch library located in a waterfront park at the centre of the Village of Sydenham. The Sydenham Library includes dedicated Children’s and Teen’s Areas, a Community Meeting Room, and a Reading Porch facing the water. The interior is focused on a Fireplace Lounge. Movable furniture and display shelves allow this area to be reconfigured for informal author readings and similar gatherings.

The project included extensive public consultation.
