Architectural Technologist
We are looking for permanent, full-time Architectural Technologists who will work with the project team to manage the day-to-day work of a project from start to finish, from design through construction. These individuals must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and demonstrate initiative. We are looking for people who can manage several projects, all at different project stages, at the same time.

Qualifications
Architectural Technologist with an advanced diploma minimum 3 years in Architectural Technology is required. Experience in an architectural firm is an asset.
Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills
Solid technical skills with the ability to prepare construction documents for a wide variety of building types
In-depth knowledge of building science
Understanding of the Ontario Building Code
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems is an asset
Ability to meet deadlines and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback in a studio environment
Ability to qualify for CPIC and security clearances required for government work
Knowledge of 3D-rendering programs is an asset
Must be a team player
Valid Ontario Driver’s License is an asset
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required for some projects
Qualifications
Work with the project team as the day-to-day project lead while collaborating as part of the larger design team
Measure and document the as-found conditions of existing buildings
Participate in and run meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities
Prepare construction documents, including developing details and writing specifications
Coordinate the work of other disciplines including engineers, planners, and interior designers
Building Code and zoning analysis and reports
Construction administration tasks including site review, shop drawing review, and processing all paperwork associated with construction administration
