Location

Client

The transformation of an existing student study room into the new ED 65 Maker Space. The project involved the complete renovation and redevelopment of the existing space, as well as the adjacent lobby. The space includes study space, collaborative work space, a green-screen filming studio, and an open maker space complete with tool library, 3D printers, and additional technical equipment for the School of Computer Engineering.

Across the lobby from the new ED 65 Maker Space is the Bain Computer Lab. SZA led the complete renovation of this space to better provide secure, 24-hour access for students, provide new group study rooms, a new office for the lab technical staff, all new furniture, and upgraded finishes.
