The Scotiabank project involved the partial demolition and redevelopment of a building in historic downtown Kingston to create a new Scotiabank Regional Banking Centre and refresh the downtown corridor.

The facade of the original historic building had been damaged beyond repair beneath the 1970s stucco exterior. The new development introduced modern elements while maintaining ties to the original historic form and materials and it remains cohesive with the surrounding historical context.
