SZA completed a 9-phase renovation of the original 2003 KFL&A Health Unit. The work was carefully designed and planned to allow the building to remain open throughout construction with no disruption to public services or staff work activities.

The work includes a Community Teaching Kitchen and Health Promotion Community Spaces. This project re-consolidates all of the Health Unit functions that have evolved through provincially mandated programs. The completed project includes new public meeting facilities and clinics on the ground floor with office space on the upper floors including private offices and open work areas.
